You can see a beautiful row of fisherman boat in Binga Village. When you come in the late afternoon, you will be presented with the dusk view along the beach bay will amaze you. After fishing, they park their boat along the dock and bring the fish to sell tomorrow in the local market. As the biggest fisherman village in Belitung, Binga has their own traditional market where you can buy some fish, squid, prawn, shrimp and many more.
Guests who are curious about the marine life around Belitung can choose to do several adventurous activities. Swimming with sea turtles, snorkeling, or even enjoying the underwater scenery with its enchanting colors of fish and coral reefs.
Visit the Gantong village to see flashbacks of the Laskar Pelangi movie. Here the Laskar Pelangi School or local people named SD Muhammadiyah Gantong. That’s the replica of the School that has been become the one of iconic tourism object in Belitung Island.
Spend time in Andrea Hirata Literacy Museum or Museum Kata to getting know the journey from the famous novel and film of Laskar Pelangi.
